Episode ten: Trash

The episode sees the return of Saffron, Mals wife. Saffron returns married to one of Mals Captain friends who subsequently dumps her on the planet where he just met Mal.

Successfully convincing the crew that she has a great pay day in store, they go about setting things in motion to steal a muchly sought after rare antique gun. Despite a few hick ups, everything goes well and they get away with it.

Then, it turns out Saffron is her usual self. She pulls a gun on Mal and leaves him abandoned in the desert naked. She has also sabotaged Serenity and goes about retrieving the valuable antique from the planned hiding place.

Once again though, Inara saves the day. She had suspected a trap and laid her own one just in case. Thus, Saffron was left to be caught by the authorities, Mal was rescued and the crew have the valued antique!
